Sustainable Waste-to-Value Carbon Project: Methane Emission Avoidance

Sustainable Waste-to-Value Carbon Project: Methane Emission Avoidance

Project Overview

The Green Eco Solution (GES) Organic Waste Bioconversion Project is a circular bioeconomy initiative that uses fly larvae to treat 5,000 metric tonnes (MT) of organic waste annually. By diverting waste from landfills, this GES project significantly mitigates methane emissions, generating valuable carbon credits (over 6,000 tCO2e avoided). The BSF larvae convert the waste into high-value, sustainable products: protein-rich animal feed and organic biofertilizer, advancing GES’s mission in Environment and Climate Change consulting.
